OBITUARY

Ina Sherman, nee Schwartz, beloved wife of Fred Sherman. Loving mother of Jessica Sherman (David Darchowsky), grandmother of Henry, sister of Marsha Landau (Gary Landau), and aunt of Richard, Susan, and Victoria. Beloved friend, mentor, and teacher to many. Ina’s life was a whole-hearted adventure. Whether in her early career as a social studies teacher at Marie Murphy Junior High, as longtime owner of Sansappelle women’s clothing company, or as a substance abuse counselor at the Chapman Center, Ina thrived on authentic interactions and meaningful connections. She cherished time spent sitting in close circles of friends and family, telling stories, listening, learning, and sharing support, love, and laughter. To keep everyone safe and healthy, the chapel service and interment are private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Lighthouse Recovery Services (lighthouseresidencesnfp.org). To attend the funeral live stream on Wednesday, December 16, at noon, please visit our website. Arrangements by Chicago Jewish Funerals - Buffalo Grove Chapel, 847.229.8822, www.cjfinfo.com
