I am deeply saddened by the loss of Victor. Having had the privilege of being hired by him, I owe much of my professional journey to his belief in my potential. Victor was not just a colleague but also a mentor and a friend whose guidance and support opened doors to challenges and opportunities that profoundly shaped my growth. I will always remain grateful for his encouragement and leadership, which will continue to inspire me. May his memory be a blessing.

I was saddened to hear of Victor's passing. I was his engineering assistant for many years at the City of Naperville Electric Utility.

While he taught me many things concerning work related subjects, we very much enjoyed discussing the nuances of American culture and his previous life in his former homeland.

One thing Victor was not - he was not the best car driver, every so often he would have a fresh dent on his car bumper., eventfully I asked him about why he's getting all these dents, Victor's reply - " Ron that's why cars have bumpers " . From that point forward whenever we went somewhere together I insisted that chauffeur him around and he would always get a chuckle out of.

As I am writing this I'm remembering many other ways I was influenced (both large and small) by Victor but mostly I am reminded y how he was always kind and fair to me

Thank you Victor
