Funeral Details

Condolences from the Ruehlmann Family in Seattle. Uncle Norman will always be remembered for introducing me to the joys of CB radio, the art of snacking and his amazing sense of humor and love of RV camping. We're very sad to hear of his passing. Lots of love from Lisa, Jeff and Sam.

Sadly I learned of Normanâ??s passing today....
Norman was a mentor to me when I began my Credit Union career in collections at Illiana Financial Credit Union. He was so very patient answering a million questions for me and always had a joke for me when we ended our phone conversations. I learned a great deal from him and admired him so very much. He was such a pleasure to work with and will be greatly missed.

A few years ago I attended my first meeting with The Saints Chicago organization. As I gave my name when I signed in with Lorraine, she excitedly told me that we were related! I guess with our descendant's family name changes., we had a familial history. She immediately called Norman. He must have been pretty surprised at the spontaneous phone call (as was I!), but we chatted and laughed for a few minutes while a crowd gathered around to check in. I never had the opportunity to meet Norman in person, but I formed a loving bond with Lorraine. As recently as last week we sat together at another Saint's event and I was touched by the love and devotion she's had for Norman, her family, and so many others all around. She asked for a "doggy bag" of sandwiches and desserts to bring to Norman when she picked him up - still working at 9:00pm.! I learned further at the memorial service, that Norman was a kind, loving and special person - as is Lorraine. My thoughts and love are with you.
