Although we never met in person, we were connected online for several years. I’m so sorry to hear of Jill’s passing. She was a compassionate lady and wonderful supporter. I will miss seeing her posts on Facebook as that was how we kept in contact after our initial group closed its page. My prayers and condolences to her family and friends.

To Jill's family & friends, Please accept my condolences & prayers on the passing of your loved one. I met Jill in High School, although she graduated in an earlier year. We lost touch for many years but we were able to re connect years later. We were able to get together a few times for lunch over the years, and attended a couple of our H.S. reunions. She was a truly kind & good person. I will miss our friendship & connecting with each other on facebook.. As you move through the grieving process, may your memories of her bring you comfort and peace.

I am so heartbroken to hear of Jill’s passing. She is someone I’ve looked up to very much in life, as an example of kindness, generosity, and resilience. She was one of a kind, and this world will miss her light. Love you, Jill,

I am not someone who can easily convey feelings so I apologize in advance but, Aunt Jill has always been a kind woman to me. Without her help I do not believe id be the man I am today. We may not have spoken frequently but God knows every time I called she was there ready to keep my head straight and me on my feet. She was a wonderful woman, and the light she brought to this world hurts all the more that she is gone. My love to her family and my condolences.

Jill taught pre-school and kindergarten at Coonley School in Chicago . She was very creative
She was loved by her students and co-workers. She was very creative and shared her ideas with everyone. She developed ideas for teaching writing for her young students. Sometimes she shared her ideas during workshops. The students loved her and teachers enjoyed working with her. She was a joy!
She will be missed.

I was invited into a wonderful group of women for monthly lunches. Jill was one of the women who welcomed me in the group. We would always have great conversation, good food and best of all good friends. Jill will be missed. May God bless her family and friends going through this difficult time. Rest in Peace.

So very sorry for your family’s loss. I did not realize, only when I posted birthday wishes and her sister said Jill had passed.
Jill was one of a group of people who kept in touch by a website - DC - and then when DC folded, we all kept in touch on FB.

Jill was so kind as to send toys, and cards to my granddaughter Gia Grier when she was diagnosed with leukemia at age 3. Gia is now 11 and in remission. I see there are donations to St Judes, so Jill must have had someone in her family with leukemia. I will donate in her memory.

Please accept my condolences. Lovely, lovely person.
