Lynne and I have been friends for over 40 years. We survived being on the executive board of Courtland Square Homeowners' Association from its inception.

Lynne never failed to send a card for my birthday or anniversary plus holiday greetings.

For our wedding, 40 years ago, she gave us a menorah. We use it faithfully each Channuka and think of her.

Our luncheons were far between, but always wonderful.

I will truly miss not having her in my life.

To the family of Lynne Kleiman, I offer my sincere condolences. Lynne and I worked together several years ago at Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. She was a pleasure to work with and a dear friend to many of us. We always admired her beautiful manicures and told her she could be a hand model. She was dedicated to her Jewish faith and always looked forward to the activities she was involved with in her congregation. She was a beautiful lady.

May the memories of all she did for Sisterhood and our congregation, remind us of the goodness that Lynne spread. Paul, remember the trip we shared in Israel.

Lynne and I knew each other for decades as our parents were best of friends. I remember their home in Jeffrey Manor and how many times we were together. Even back then Lynne was an intelligent, organized leader. She was president when we were in Tovah BBG in high school. How happy I was to reconnect with her at BJBE. Once again she put her innumerable skills to work, being an integral part of our sisterhood. Sitting on our board of directors and executive board, her creative ideas and organizational skills were put to good use. Lynne will be missed so much. I have lost a friend. All my great memories of her will be a blessing.

Lynne was a beloved cousin of Arlene, Stan, Deb and Lori Birnbaum. I was not able to see her as much as I wanted because of the geographic distance, but whenever I was in Chicago, I would visit with her. I did not know she was failing, or I would have of course been there to see her. The point is, however, in life she was always gracious, compassionate, and no matter how she felt, just like our maternal line, she took care to look her best - which was beautiful. I too received cards from her on each holiday and birthday. I will miss her, and am grateful she was in my life for all these years.

Lynne and I became friends when she married David who was my good friend at Highland Park High School. We kept in touch through the years. There is so much history
I live in Georgetown, Texas and was going to come visit Lynne May first. I fell and broke my knee cap and called Lynne to see if I could visit later. She was too ill and we decided to POSTPONE MY VISIT. We laughed on the phone because I told her i would send the housewarming gift anyway.

Lynne was so incredibly brave what with a gut wrenching divorce and all the challenges of being a single mother and ALONE. I wanted her to move here to Sun City but she just laughed. I did not want her to die so soon but she told me that she was giving up. We shared a lot of experiences, divorce, single ,mom,. working at Motorola. I admit I was jealous sometimes because I wanted to be as smart as her. And speak fluent Spanish.

Paul, I really loved your mom through all these years and I know good memories of her will help you always. There is a big hole in my heart because of her passing.
