When I received a text message that Dolores had passed I was stunned, for me she was always mom. Never held ill feelings towards anyone. One of her many pleasures was quilting. She didn’t joke alot but always had a kind word for people. The temple was huge part of her heart and soul. Out of the many trips that we visited over the years I believe the one we made in late February for her 100th birthday was the most cherished by her. All she could do was laugh and have smiles, and tears of joy. I now in her heart I will always be her sonny. I know she resting in peace and back home with my father. We will miss her but she will always be remembered and forever in our hearts. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Dolores was very close to my mother. Over the years, Dolores’s family and my family shared yearly Thanksgiving at their apartment and Christmas at our home. I always looked forward to the holidays. She was always sweet and loving to me. Her eldest son, Freddie, and I remain lifelong childhood friends. She lived a long and loved life with her family and friends. May she rest in peace.🙏❤️🙏

Mrs. "B" will always be a part of my heart. We shared our Bat Mitzvah journey which took almost two years. What an amazing time, what an amazing woman!

Aunt Delores was the fun young aunt. As she aged, she was the role model for how to behave as a senior. Fred and I always talked about her energy, as well as her sunny attitude. When we visited Chicago, we looked forward to lunch with Aunt Delores. Although we cannot see her again, she lives in our heart.

Dearest Freddie, Karyn, & Family,

It saddened me so much when Penny called about the passing of Aunt Delores. I would call her on the high holidays to keep in touch from a distance. She was always upbeat
and interested in hearing about her Nashville family. She crocheted a lovely baby blanket when Penny was born which we still have. She had a special place in her heart for Penny since she was named after her late sister. She promised Penny if and when she would marry she would come to her wedding and she did come at the age of 93. Yes, she was one special lady. She will be in hearts for ever and may her life serve as a blessing to all who knew and loved her. Our prayers are with you.
