Lynn and Irv and Family. Denyse just called to tell me about Uncle Billy. We are so sorry to hear this news. Scott and I will be out of town this weekend so we will not be able to attend his funeral. We will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers. May Uncle Billy's memory always be for a blessing to you all. I hope you know how special he was to me and all these years that have gone by how much I have missed you all.

Billy, as we knew him, was a friend of my father’s (Don Lowitz) from high school (I think). I have fond memories of the Sundays our families shared when we were kids. My heartfelt condolences to Sylvia, Irv, Judy, and Cindy. May Billy’s name be an eternal blessing. May you all go from strength to strength.
Fondly,

TRIBUTE TO THE SHAPIRO FAMILY FROM GEORGE AND JULIET AGBAKAHI,
(BARBARA CHUKWUEMEKA BROTHER. AND SISTER IN-LAW)

The news of the departure of Bill Shapiro came with a rude shock and created a deep vacuum in the hearts of many who knew him.

Bill was indeed an epitome of humility and respect to everyone around him. He was also a person of immense wisdom, creativity, enthusiasm, and superb communication skills.

Within his own circle, he affected more lives positively, particularly in such areas as mentorship and as a life coach.
According to Chuck Palahniuk, " We all die. The goal isn't to live forever. The goal is to create something that will..."

Bill lived a life worthy of emulation. He fought the good fight of faith and will forever be remembered for his heroism and valiant deeds.

As you have gone to be with the Almighty God, we promise to always stand by your wonderful, blissful, and united family and be closely knitted to all that concerns you.

We shall carry on with the profound and lasting legacies you left behind by which you will be remembered forever.

We shall also continue to pray for your lovely wife of 71 years, your gorgeous children and grandchildren, and great grandchildren

May God accept his illustrious soul and grant him eternal peace while granting his wife and the entire Shapiro family the strength and discretion to bear this huge irreplaceable loss.

George and Juliet.
