Rich will always remain in my memory as the “cool uncle”. He took me sailing on lake Michigan, took me on a race track, to a Cubs game and many more amazing places. We were family. Uncle Rich, you will be missed but the memories of you will always live on.

Rich, you're a good man and a good friend. I remember the time you were working on my Porsche 944 with "lot rot" as you called it. (That thing was one big project.) Anyway, you got a call from a customer wanting his Porsche Boxter returned to him at his work place after you'd worked on it and had it detailed, but we were the only two in the shop. You gave me a Lakeside Motorsports sweatshirt and had me drive the car over to his place. I got to be your employee for a day. I still have that sweatshirt and continue to advertise for you around the world. It was great hanging out with you at Joe's Crab Shack, or just chatting around the shop. You're the most honest, proficient mechanic I've ever known. The world has lost one of the good ones. My heart goes out to your family and loved ones.
