Patty and Marc, while we didn’t get together often, the time spent with both Jack and Edith was a blessing. Always enjoyed your Dad’s Cook County stories and so admired your Mom’s strength and strong will. How lucky we are to have been raised by a generation of wonderful parents. Memories and lessons we now get to pass on to our children and grand children. With Love - Joel and Cindy

Mrs. Phillips was a warm and very entertaining hostess during my numerous weekends spent at her home during my college years. Her humor was absolutely passed on to her daughter, Patty, whom I had the privilege of rooming with during a significant portion of my time in Champaign-Urbana. To this day, I think of Mrs. Phillips when I bake or eat “dookies”, or when I decorate for holidays. It has always and will always make me smile when I think of her. My life is richer for having known her, and I send blessings to her and my deepest condolences to her family.
