OBITUARY

Michael Larry Millman of Northbrook, IL passed away suddenly on August 1 while visiting with family in one of his favorite places, Gloucester, MA. Born in Chicago, first son of Myrna and the late Morrie, Michael attended Niles North HS and University of Illinois. He received his Master's in Industrial Relations from Loyola University Chicago. Married to the love of his life for 44 years, Debbie Millman, nee Bumagin, he was the kindest and most supportive father to Josh (Megan) and Liz (Hunter) Hardin. He was the best Papa to Sam, Caroline, and Alice Millman who will miss him every day. He was the pied piper to many nieces and nephews, with unmatched patience and playfulness. He was an organized and dedicated employee focusing on transportation logistics for Weber Flavors, having started his career at Fel-Pro. An avid fisherman and cyclist, Michael loved the water and the outdoors, although he could often be found working out at the gym. He is also survived by his mother Myrna, brother David and sister Laura, along with nephew Matthew Millman, and mother-in-law Victoria Bumagin. He will be missed by his many cousins, in-laws, and close friends. Service Wednesday 12 Noon at Shalom Memorial Park Cemetery (Section V Mt. Moriah), 1700 West Rand Road, Arlington Heights. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Temple Jeremiah, 937 Happ Road, Northfield, IL 60093, www.templejeremiah.org. To attend the funeral live stream, please visit our website. Michael was a kind and funny gentleman. His love for and pride in his family was evident every time I spoke with him. I will greatly miss my good friend of 30-plus years.

Michael and I were related through Michael's grandmother, maiden name Sarah Rosenbaum, Myrna's mother who was my grandmother's sister. I currently live in New Hampshire and visited Myrna in Illinois a number of times. The first time Michael and Debbie were also there while I interviewed and recorded Myrna's history and scanned her family pictures that are now on my internet photo web site. Michael had a great interest in his family history and we explored it together. The last time was a couple months ago when I gave him access to my Ancestry.com family tree and we were going to explore that together. We, unfortunately, never got to that. Michael was a wonderful man with a great interest and dedication to his family. His passing was far too early. I hope that Debbie and his children have peace and well being, especially in these difficult times. May Michael's memory be for a blessing.

My sincere condolence to Mike Millman family, very sorry for your loss. May God grant you patience & serenity. I am sure everyone here at Weber Flavors will miss Mike. Mike was such dedicated employee with "great work ethics", polite and very respectful. Although, Mike was responsible of Shipping, and I am part of R&D. In small family business as Weber, Mike was so sincere in collaborating with everyone, always warm smile on his face, greeting every morning and at the end of each day. Once I chatted with Mike about my trips to Egypt, and all I remember from our conversation is his kindness and being so thankful for the smallest kind act.
May God Bless him with heavenly paradise.
Amen
