One of my first memories of Audrey was in Spanish conversation group. She said that in a prior life she spoke Spanish, which is why she wanted to speak Spanish in this life. She was a lovely lovely person.

To Audrey's family,
I just had the pleasure of meeting Audrey a few months ago when I joined the Spanish group at the Levy Center. Consequently, I haven't known Audrey for very long at all. It certainly didn't take any time for Audrey to reveal herself as a caring and compassionate person. She was one of the first to welcome me to the group. Her presence was certainly a blessing to everyone. It was special to me yesterday during our meeting when others who have known her well shared their fond memories and deep feelings for her. My heart is with your family. To loose both parents/grandparents in such a short time would be so difficult. May, in time, your memories help you focus on the blessings you had with them more than the grief of their passing.

Audrey was a superb cook. I have several of her recipes and will think of her whenever I prepare them

I had the privilege of knowing Audrey for about 6 years in the Spanish group. She was kind, funny, interesting, and helpful. She was my right-hand “man” in taking care of the business of the group. When I first met her, she wanted to know when I was born as she was interested in astrology. She loved Spanish soap operas and, well, anything Spanish! She told great stories in the group but we learned a few more interesting ones at the memorial from her children. What a fascinating life she led!
Que descanse en paz. May her memory be for a blessing.

Audrey was a happy outgoing person who welcomed me into the
Spanish Conversation group even greeting me in the grocery store across aisle not ashamed to acknowledge me as the newly arrived African American participant who might have been thought to not speak Spanish. She was always open about her travels in Spanish speaking countries she visited. happy and proud to speak Spanish there. I will truly miss her.
