Dale just told me about Ed. Ilene and Jennifer, we were very saddened by the news. We've not been in contact a lot but always had the highest regard for Ed and know him as a sweet, caring, wonderful man who will be sorely missed. What a terrible loss for us all - especially for the two of you! Our sincerest condolences.

Ilyne, Jen and Andy,

Please except my condolences and those of BP on Ed's passing. While working with this man at Pactiv, Valspar and BP I learned of Ed's wonderful bride Ilyne and is lovely daughter Jen and how he held his family above all.
A distant second was his Chicago Cubbies. He bleed â??cubbie blueâ? though thick and thin. He was elated when the Cubs won World Series in 2016. Being a die-hard Sox fan, we had an annual running bet and he fell for this one; one year. I bet him that he would multiple the daily runs scored for the Cubs win or loss each day and I will add the white sox score and at of the end of season we see who has most runs, he took it. After the first Shutout the Cubs suffered, he quickly called and said I was a â??Shysterâ? we laughed, and he paid his debt after the season. In 2016 I bet him a steak dinner the Cubs would not win the series vs. the Indians but they survived and we never settled that bet. So I won again and ED I will get the better deal from this accomplished Yiddish Salesman, I will pay you back by having the better bet, I get to repay his Bride Ilyne with a steak dinner. And Like Ed, he was always giving he gave me his friendship, His Stories, His Humor and we shared many conversations and with the Good Lord's best medicine laughter.
Ed I will miss our conversations but more I will miss your friendship and good presence. Godspeed to you Ed and I will keep you and all the Weinbergâ??s in my prayers.
Your Die-hard White Sox Friend
