To Leah and Alana, My deepest sympathy on the loss of your father. He was taken away much too soon. A family taken away too soon. It is very important that you take care of each other.

I am so very sorry and distressed to learn of the passing of my "great nephew" Seth's biological grandfather, (father of his mother) was my dear brother who was killed in action in World War 2, one month after his daughter, Seth's mother , was born.
Even though distance led to us not seeing as much of each other as I would have liked, I always felt a strong connection to him and his brother.
May he rest in peace.

To Leah and Alana, we are soooo very sorry for your loss. We are sending hugs and know that we are holding you from afar. While it has been such a long time since we saw your Dad, we have fond memories of our time with him and you all as a family. He was taken much too young. With love, Dina and Phil Hankin

Seth and I became great friends when he volunteered as a team vice president for the Maple Lawn Swim Club board. He lead the board with his charisma, humanism and his sense of humor. He has given positive influence to everyone around him and cared for those who needed the most. The world has lost someone special and my deeper condolences to his surviving family. Loss of this great friend weigh heavy on my heart.

I knew Seth from the Nile’s police department he helped me tremendously when I lost my best friend another police officer. We would talk every Saturday for a long time just BS or have spirited debates on politics. He was a good friend and will be sorely missed. Till we meet again my friend.

Sending my sincere condolences to the Knobel family members. Was sad to learn this morning while cruising my recent birthday celebration wishes from friends and family members, when I learned of the recent passing of cousin Seth. His mom’s mother, my aunt Mildred and my mom, Muriel Silvers were sisters. Not having spent much time with Seth or his younger brother, Jeremy, through the years, I do recall Seth being the life of the party, always jovial, loved to have meaningful conversations, a loving and caring father to his lovely children, and just an all around mensch. “Only The Good Die Young,” as Billy Joel’s hit song, off his 1978 Stranger LP, says it all. May you rest in eternal peace, Along with your wonderful mom & dad. Amen!

Seth and my husband‘s parents were deeply connected in each other’s lives. And while Dan and I did not have much connection to Seth for some years because of geography, when he moved to Maryland, the friendship was immediately rekindled. He, Lily and Oliver quickly became our extended family. Having no extended family here in Maryland ourselves, it was comforting to include such wonderful people in our lives, including sharing family celebrations. As everyone has already so beautifully shared, he was truly an exceptional person, kind, generous, genuinely caring and joyful. We are so grateful that he, Lily and Oliver were able to join us for Thanksgiving this year. My last interaction with him was hugs, goodbye and telling each other we loved one another.
My family will miss him dearly, and we will strive every day to honor his memory by trying to be as good as a person as we can. The measuring up to him is quite the challenge.
Much Love and Sorrow,
Robin Bregman

My condolences to Seth’s Family and beautiful children. He still had so much life and plans ahead. Seth was a great man with a beautiful heart. I was extremely lucky to call him a friend for 3 years. I will never forget the day we first met and how welcoming he was. I’m so happy to have taken a few pictures together of us to always have and I know he will always be in my heart. May he rest peacefully and know just how much he was loved. ❤️
