OBITUARY

Jean Kahn Lutz Isador, Age 95.

Beloved wife of the late Lee Lutz and the late Jay Isador. Loving mother of Lynn, nee Lutz (Chuck) Friend and Donna, nee Lutz (Tim) Mole. Proud grandmother of Eileen, Levi, David, Marc, Liza. Cherished great-grandmother of Zipporah, Rafi, and Ezekiel. She will be missed by her extended family and many friends. Jean was a woman ahead of her time. Out of college she was one of the first female executive buyers at Marshall Field’s. She met the love of her life, Lee (Buddy). They were married May 17, 1953. Together they opened a children’s clothing store. When Lee passed away in 1958 Jean continued to successfully run and expand for many years. She married Jay in 1971. She sold her business and moved up to Highland Park. She discovered her love of rare books through her volunteer work with Brandeis Rare Book Sale. She established her rare book business in person and online. She was passionate about golf, bridge, book clubs, theater, travel, art, Botanic Gardens, and her family. Jean was loved and respected by all who knew her.
