I loved Joy with all my heart. But I wasn't alone in those feelings. She radiated joy and love to everyone who met her. We often sat next to each during Shabbat services, and her smiling presence always brightened my day. I know she was dearly loved by everyone who spoke with her... almost like a second mother to Congregation Hakafa. She also was a fan of my children's book, and asked me more than once when I was going to write another book. Thank you, Joy, for being such a radiant, loving presence in my life. I'm grateful to have known you. You will always be in my heart.
