Hello all, I was sad to know of the death of Marlene, I loved knowing her and having one of her daughters as my beloved daughterinlaw and the Grandmother of my granddaughters. Having lost my own mother 9 years ago, at age 94, I know what it is to lose your Mother, So you all know that my thoughts are with you and what you are going through just now. Being as my maiden name was Adams...so similiar to Abrams, makes me feel closer. My love and blessings to all of you and pray that all goes well with the services. Carolyn Adams Cox.

Marlene’s presence would ensure a lively conversation, appreciating the event taking place and looking forward to the next. She contributed much to Batavia education, touching and changing lives. My heartfelt sympathy extends to her family as they continue the legacy set by Sam and Marlene.

We are so sorry to hear this news, especially around the holidays. At least she is at peace and is able to be with her loving husband, Sam.

Sharon—much love to you and your family at this time of great loss. How wonderful she got to meet her great grandchild, Bluma, and to see you become a grandmother yourself.

The world has lost a very special person. We are so sorry for all of you. There were so many reasons to admire Marlene.....her strength, her professionalism, her integrity, her wit, and of course, her love of and pride in her family. Like your dear father, Sam, she made a profoundly positive impact on so many Batavia families. Peace be with you all.
