My heart is broken. I have lost my best friend. I met Norm on a job site downtown at the apparel center. We were working as electricians and I told him I was an actor, which he replied you’re an actor? Well you don’t know shit! I knew at that moment I met a friend for life. Norm took me under his wing and directed me in so many amazing directions that I immediately knew I did not know shit. I studied in New York because of Norm. I worked on monologues. We would work out together just as friends and actors . My greatest memory is going to the opera with Norm. The cast came out to five curtain calls. After the third curtain call Norm said ” geez these guys really love them selves” to which we both belly laughed. Then they came out for another curtain call we were stopping our feet and holding our stomachs with laughter. There’s so much I could say about Norm but the one thing I know Norm Tobin I love you! I will miss you! I love you I love you I love you till we meet again.
