Josephine F. Kovitz, nee Ray, age 94,

Beloved wife of the late Philip Kovitz. Loving mother of Louis Kovitz and Jeanette (Falke) Bruinsma. Devoted grandmother of Luka and Nico. Dearest sister of the late Shayle (Sheila) Ray. Graduate of Hyde Park High School, Chicago. Her vivacious personality encouraged the love of all music, especially opera. "Opera is for Everyone!" In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, www.stjude.org. Private family graveside service at Jewish Waldheim Cemetery, Forest Park.
