Dear Heddie, Michelle and Laura, and family,
Bob was one of the kindest and most thoughtful people I have met, and I feel privileged to have known him.

I have very fond memories of Bob from camp. He was always, warm, authentic, and original. He displayed a spirit which carried him forward in a wide variety directions and activities that I would not have expected him to do. He offered his thoughtful ideas in a quiet direct way. Finally, he always seemed like a caring man.

My husband and I met Bob and Heddie at Camp Michigania. Several couples who met there would enjoy a get-away weekend with other camp friends every spring. One year we were finishing dinner at a nice restaurant when the waitress handed back each credit card after paying the bills. She gave one to Mr. Parker, another to Mr. Goldwasser, etc. Then she handed back Bob's (not quite reading the name correctly),Mr. Romance. Since then, we've loved to call Bob Mr. Romance.

So sad to hear about this loss. Bob was a unique person. His enthusiasm for the talent show at Michigania will stay with me always.
We will miss him.

Bob was a great lawyer and a good friend. I did many cases with him when he was in the office. He was always willing to help and gave great advice. There were many times we went to the Traffic Court Conference in Peoria and had a good time. . Eleanor and I enjoyed the times we went out with Heddie and Bob. We will miss him.

He was a terrific man and a loving father. A true Mensch. I hadn't seen him in years but when I was first starting out as a Social Worker doing Juvenile Delinquency work in the African American community downstate, he gave me some wonderful insightful advice that helped me and my clients and their families. Mostly I knew him as a young child as Heddie and my mom went to high school together and were good friends. May his memory be a blessing.
