My condolences to Sandy and the rest of Howard's family. I'm very sorry for your loss. I knew Howard for about 30 years from my years at First Industrial and The Shidler Group. We were dinner mates for literally hundreds of dinners. He was one of the smartest and wisest people I've ever met. And importantly, he always cared about everybody and was the first to ask "how can it help?" Howard helped me in many ways and I learned an incredible amount from him.

On one First Industrial out of town strategic planning meeting, he and I got stuck having to share a room - and there were only bunk beds! It was quite funny as we negotiated who had to be in the top bunk. There are so many great stories about Howard. I will miss him dearly.

Dear Sandy,
I am so saddened for your loss. I will always remember fond memories of Howie from our youth. He was always smiling and laughing. I am sorry for long good-bye you have experienced. You truly are in my thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely,

I was so sorry to hear of Howard's passing. I'm sure the last several years were difficult ones for his whole family.
He was a warm and engaging person and I know that when his accident curtailed his legal career everyone at the law firm was shocked and saddened by his premature departure.
My condolences to you all and may his memory be for a blessing..
Sincerely,
Elise Barack
