Rabbi Frazin was very special to my late husband (Richard-Dick) and myself. He also married 2 of our 3 children at B'Nai Israel. He will always be fondly remembered by our family and we send our sincerest sympathy.

Rabbi Frazin officiated at my wedding to Bill (a non-Jew) , at my son, Charlie's Bar Mitzvah, at my husband's conversion, at my husband's funeral and internment, and finally at my B'nai Mitzvah with 13 other ladies. He also made up my Hebrew name as Pinkatanah Kanit, and from then on called me Pocahontas!
Lester played an enormous role in my life and will forever be of Blessed Memory.

I will miss our weekly phone calls in which we solved all the world's problems and discussed the latest audible books we had discovered. In my mind, I can still hear what I've always told you was your bassoon-like voice.

Rabbi Frazin and I had a great competition playing Candy Crush on line.
I drove Sherine to her dialysis appointments when he was unable to.
We became good temple friends.

My good friend from whom I learned much about the Jewish faith after moving to Sedgebrook. He was always a good listener.. we had a good time when I drove him to Verizon to update his phone and he good was a good sport in supporting me at Xfinity. I'm so sorry he's gone! What a brilliant man! I'm glad I knew him even for such a short time.

I went to grammar school with your dad, and he and I have been friends ever since. My parents were also friends of Les' parents, and of course Art Frazin took our children's photos. Also, Art began the business of wedding consulting with me doing the caligraphy on the invitations/envelopes. It's obviously been a long relationship between our families.
A further coincidence, Sherine was in the flower business in California with a cousin of my husband's, one of the Bories twins - either Joan or Judy.
When i would see Les, we always talked about the good old days and whatever happened to...??? Our friendship continued until he moved to Sedgewick, and we had lunch together at Saranello's, with the Michaels picking him up. So about 85 years of being friends - that must have been some kind of record. He'll be very missed by the few of us who are still around.
