The Friday Flyers are all so sorry to hear of the passing of one of our favorite Flyer.s Big Jay (because he was actually taller than another Jay in our group) was a fixture on the golf range, working endless hours to perfect his swing. I affectionally called him the Curmudgeon. He will be sorel missed.

So sorry to hear of Jay’s passing. We would often console each other over our bad golf shots. Will miss his humor and insights over lunch or dinner. One great guy.

It was always a pleasure playing golf or talking with Jay.
I admired his dedication to improve his golf game. Nobody spent more time on the driving range than Jay. He loved being there and we loved Jay. I’m sure every time I drive past the range I remember him whacking golf balls

Jay was a pleasure to be around. Great sense of humor and more than willing to absorb the kidding often handed out by his golfing buddies. He had a somewhat strange habit of taking his practice swings either perpendicular to or even away from the intended target. Then he would change clubs and do it all over again. We couldn’t resist some playful comments about that. We’ll miss him.

May he rest in peace.

So sorry to hear of Jay's passing. I think Jay and I were tied for most time spent on the practice range. Unfortunately , practice didn't help. But we enjoyed each others company. When the scores were posted , I always looked to see if Jay or I was last. I really enjoyed his company and I will miss him.
