My friend since 6th grade.Walked to school together almost everyday. Traveled to Bloomington in his green Mercury, and sometimes we were able to make it back to Gary. We would walk across from his home and play catch in Jackson Park..If anyone deserves the success in life it was Stan. I will never forget him. I will miss him every day. I will miss reminiscing about the times we had at HM. I am so sorry.

Stan was an extraordinary man. He was very bright and very talented but what was really amazing about him was the fact that he was so unimpressed about it. Stan was really good at everything that he did but it never seemed to go to his head. He didn’t brag about it or try to show off or put anyone else down because he was so much smarter or so much more talented than they were.
The other thing that I will always remember about Stan is how he loved reminiscing about the past. We talked endlessly about the people we knew in high school and grade school and the things that we had done back then. We would spend hours revisiting those years. They all seemed to come alive again when we talked about them.
I know that I will always miss him.

Stan Weiss- what a great and sharing person. I always looked forward to our phone calls and visits, with his witty and quick sense of humor. I would smile as he would jokingly scold me on poor ideas I had and then always steer me in the right direction. I never lost to him at poker, but then again, lucky for me we never played. He did beat a couple games of pinball at the house, but still it's been a pleasure to have known him. Stan the Man will be greatly missed. My deepest sympathy to the entire Weiss family.
