God took a beautiful, kind soul yesterday, my dearest Uncle Mike. Iâ??ll always remember his extreme kindness and generosity, most of all his warm smiles and genuine hugs and affection. I have countless fond memories of my Uncle Mike growing up in Chicago. My dear grandparents Harry & Jenny had an apartment close to where my folks raised me near Roosevelt & Keeler Avenues. In fact I remember the dinners my grandma Jenny used to have for her son Michael and a lot of his college football friends. He was a fine son and was a close friend to his oldest sister Natalie (my mom) and to his second oldest sister Shelly. Iâ??ll miss talking to my Uncle Mike on the phone in which heâ??d always start off a conversation asking me how Iâ??m feeling and I would always say fine Uncle Mike. Iâ??ll miss talking to my Uncle Mike but Iâ??m glad that his suffering from his devastating illness is finally over...

It was always fun to see Mike and you knew you were going to have a good time. He and Pam always opened their house and their hearts to their friends. We will all miss him.
