Harriet Schoenwald, nee Green, age 85
A creative free thinker. The fashion original. Interested and interesting. When you met her, you immediately became her friend. Her concern was of others needs and happiness. A voracious reader of philosophy and self- care books. Animal adorer. Her craft of cooking and collection of kitchen classics, all supreme. Designer of her special outdoor garden and flower filled home. Every day was beautiful. Endearing grandma to 5 specials, 4 boys and a princess. Beloved wife of William “Billy” for 64 years. Daughter of the late Phillip and Rose, nee Hill, Green. Mother of Jill (Matthew) Nitto and Julie Reidel. Grandmother of Emmet, Cooper, Justin, Ethan and Margot. Sister of Marcia Axelrad and Carrie Rymek and aunt to 6 nephews. A gathering of family and friends to celebrate her life on an upcoming date.
