To dear Sam whom I am so concerned about ... "Sammy", I always adored your loving wife, Miriam, who was forever kind and caring
to me whenever I saw her and sat close by to her remembering a Concert Lecture of a bit ago at de Paul University when Richard C.
Wyszynski, was holding a Lecture about many elements of Music sitting closely to your Miriam, who greeted me with so much care
& kindness I felt loved ... She was forever On Your Side throughout your Concertmaster Career of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra
under Sir Georg Solti, and followed by Daniel Barenboim, plus I am guessing the opening of Maestro Riccardo Muti's Reign after The
2 remarkable musician Conductor's to follow ... I felt your playing grew by miles w/your Leadership of the Solti/CSO & under Daniel
Barenboim and also even more mature which I am sure had much to do with the moral support and Love of your loving You Wife ...
Although I did not often see both of you together once I had taken up Teaching at Original ACM (American Conservatory of Music)
I felt All was Well and lovely at a few CSOAA Reunions which were always much looked forward to with my Guy, CM and ongoing
conversations with many of now no longer with us Colleagues much missed. It is my fervent hope your Family is now very much
with you in this dire time of major Loss of Your Life Partner and most Faithful Friend, Miriam, also Mother and Grandmother with
much to Live for ... All I can think of right now is A Biblical Phrase ~ "Pray without Ceasing" for Healing and Strength to Carry On
and to devote yourself to the younger members of Your Family with Your Love of Music and Legacy to be passed on with Love ...
My sincere Condolences to You, Husband of Miriam, Lovely Person and Kind Woman to All ... I hope seeing you May 29, 2026
May your beloved treasured Wife, Miriam Magad, now Rest In Peace Eternally with God and Watch Over You from Heaven . . .
{ I could Not attend the Funeral Service Today, Sunday, March 1st, 2026 due to short notice for agreed prior "Must Will Do's"
yet please again accept my sorrowed Condolences and Sympathy for You w/All your Magad plus younger Marrieds Family ~
Your former Solti/CSO Violin Colleague, Elisabeth Matesky
