In the 1970s she was a pioneer of biofeedback clinical practice at BRAIN labs in Arlington Heights. She was an active community member of JRC Evanston, becoming a Bat Mitzvah at 75 years young! Gerry devoted herself to the practice of Tai Chi for over 40 years and enjoyed skiing, traveling, reading, gardening, studying languages and listening to classical music. Determined to live life to the fullest, she overcame the odds many times over. She was a champion of the underdog and inspired others with her strength.
