Growing up and spending a lot of time visiting Chicago from Toronto I was so fortunate to have Uncle Art as an Uncle! He was not only so much fun taking me everywhere - ballgames at Sox park, Lasalle street visits and fun bar/ restaurants after his handball or softball games . The visits to see his clients were also amazing. He gave unconditional love and taught me that there is nothing you can’t be if you try hard .
His love for his parents was another thing to admire
Everyone should grow up with an uncle like Art and I’m glad I did

Michael and family, I met your father thru the car business and Talro insurance. He did business with my father too. He was a great guy and he and I had the love of collecting Sports Memorabilia. Rocky was always smiling when he came to the dealership. May he rest in peace.

Dear Wirth Family,

Words cannot express how sorry I am for your loss. I had the immense privilege of working alongside Arthur Wirth for over 25 years and I learned so much from him . I will miss talking and joking with him. I will miss calling him on his birthdays and miss his texts. THANK YOU FOR ALL THE MEMORIES.

It's so sad
.My grandmother Menche and Arthur's mother were sisters.
I loved them both.
Art was my Mom's only cousin that survived. Her only relative (except for his kids) and every time we thought of him, talked to him. saw him - we were reminded of her.
We will remember his laughs, the tingle in his eyes - like a little kid about to be naughty, his generosity to all of us.
He will always be remembered as an important part of our family.
And to top it all - Art passed the same day as his cousin - my mother: May 19th. That's family.
Our hearts are with you.

We are so sorry for the loss of your husband, father, and grandfather. Art was such a sweet and loving person. He was always with a smile. He was an inspiration to us as he rode his bike through the neighborhood and around town. When you met him on the bike he always gave a thumbs up and a hello. He will greatly be missed by his Cresswind neighbors. May God bring you comfort in the following days.

You couldn't have a better uncle growing up. My brother Irwin covered all the areas that made our trips to Chicago as kids eventful and memorable. I would always ask Bubbie Helen where Uncle Arty was. Around 1 am, I would often be awoken by sounds coming from the kitchen, only to discover Uncle Art had dropped by to empty the fridge with some late-night cake-eating!... My beloved mother, Rita, loved Athur unconditionally, which speaks volumes about his impact.
