Our deepest condolences to the entire Holman family. We only met Darrell a few times but know how close he was to his family (and Michael in particular) and see the impact of his life on the way that his children are raising their own families. May his memory be a blessing.

Uncle Darrell helped me out when I first moved to Chicago with great advise, and throughout the years after that. He always had time for me. So many wonderful memories of him growing up and I’ll miss him dearly!

Darrell was a wonderful client. My father and i had the pleasure to take care of his amazing hair. He always had the best hair and was a delight to get to know.
One of my greatest memories of him is when he would come to the salon and read to my little girl. She eventually learned how to read back to him.
I will never forget how kind and generous he and his lovely wife have always been to me and my family. My deepest condolences to the entire family. My heart breaks for all of u. Sincerely

We will miss Darrell's smiling face. I loved when he came to Joyce Schrager's class, Jewish View of the News.
A real fine gentleman will be missed.
Fondly,

I am deeply saddened (brokenhearted) by the passing of Darrell. He was my boss, my leader, my inspiration, my counselor, many times my second father, while working side by side at Cameo Container Corp. over many, many years.
There was never a harsh word between us! In retrospect it really is almost unbelievable.
Darrell was blessed with so many wonderful attributes. And he was a blessing to all of us.
A finer man I've never had the privilege of meeting.
My condolences to his entire family.

So sorry to hear of Darrell's passing. My sincere condolences to Belle and her family. I remember Darrell, when we used to have our JGSI Board meetings at your home in Skokie, many years ago. I was able to stream the service today and was surprised to hear how handy Darrell was. That was very unusual for a man in our generation. He left his sons that, his love for Judaism and so many wonderful memories. May his memory be for a blessing.
