We are all so sorry to hear about Mitchell. I've known him since he was a little boy. He was always smiling. He lit up a room. He was a wonderful person, son, brother, husband, uncle, friend to many and a great physician. He will be truly be missed. May his memory be a blessing. Mickey and Mitra Berman

Dr. Mitch was my doctor for over 32 years. He was so much more than a doctor. He was a rabbi, a comedian, a professor and a friend. We connected as fellow Rush graduates, and on our adoration of science as well as our mutual disdain for the mediocre. There are too many memories to shuffle through to illustrate how much he meant to me. All I can say is when I was suffering a stroke and my heart rate was getting weaker by the second, he saved me. He always knew what to do and I will be forever lost without his medical guidance. I will miss you, Dr. Mitch. My hope is wherever you are it includes a golf course and one hell of a view!

Heartbroken to hear of Mitch’s passing. So many wonderful memories of special time spent together. Holidays, special occasions, vacations, and our fun Sunday night suppers,
He will be truly missed by all the lives he touched.

This is a shocking loss to the many families that have counted on him as their beloved doctor. This is also a loss to our community for which he did so much. . Mitchell was my first cousin, and I was so proud of him. My wife , doctor Susan Weisberg was also a beloved physician who passed away about eight years ago. Susan was extremely proud of Mitchel for his skills and his obvious demonstrated caring for his patients . In Susan’s practice, patients, suppliers, hospital staff and colleagues were constantly asking
“are you related to Dr. Mitch Weisberg”. She was always proud to say YES. I am crying now as I struggle to write this. My words can’t adequately express how sad and crushed I am. I love you, dear cousin Mitch,….. I will miss you so.

Mitch (Doc) was our doctor for over 20. As others have said he was much more than our doctor. We considered him our good friend. He has always been there for us. To his family, who he spoke so fondly of, his face lit up at just the mention of you all. We will him terribly. May his memory be a blessing.

Mitchell was my Dr, friend and confidant for 35 years, I am devastated by his sudden loss. As my Dr he was caring, skillful, attentive and always found the answers. As a friend he was always there when you needed him and as my confidant, he was always
patient, understanding, calm and confidant in his guidance.
He was one of a kind and irreplaceable in the many rolls he played for so many.
My deepest condolences to his entire family. And to his friends and patients, we will all feel his loss and miss him. Wherever you are Mitch, I know you’re feeling all the love from everyone you have touched.

Zoie , Shayna, and Sophia,

My condolences to you three. What amazing parents you have there are still few days that I don’t recall something hilarious your dad said at an inappropriate time to lighten the mood or make something difficult a bit easier. I always felt like the luckiest guy in the room when sat near him at a wedding or bar mitzvah because I was going to get a heaping dose of funny and entrainment. It came from him having a healing and happy nefesh, which he would share with us lesser folks. Good memories of a man you were lucky enough to call your dad.

Dear Shayna, Zoie and Sophia, I am so sorry for your loss of your dad. He and your mother were always the life of the party. I have so many wonderful and happy memories of all of us in Arizona celebrating Passover together. I know that your mom, Margo, Sarah and Michael and my Gary are welcoming him and are ready to dance! Sending much love, hugs and strength to you all.

Mitch was more than my doctor, he was a good friend. For more than 30 years I have confided in him for every important detail of my life. He even became my child’s doctor even as a teenager she trusted him more than she trusted anyone. He was so important in our lives and he will be missed.

I am heartbroken to learn of Mitchell’s sudden passing. I knew him in the 1980s, before he met your mom, who I also knew through friends. He was a warm, kind, smart, generous, fun and funny person. And he was so very in love with your mom. I know he will live in your heart forever. He was such a special human.

May you be comforted by so many memories of your lives with him and your mom, and may that bring you solace in the coming months and always.

His memory is already a blessing.

So sad.

What devastatingly sad news about my Cousin Mitchell. To all of Janet and Harry's kids (my cousins) and to Mitchell's and Abby's beautiful daughters, my heartfelt sympathy over this profound loss. It is moving to see the love his patients have for him. I 'm so glad I got to experience his and Abby's warmth and kindness, and to share a dance or two with him. Sending my love from Philadelphia.

Dear Zoie, Shayna and Sophia, we r so very very sorry for the loss of your Dad! My family saw your dad as our doctor and also a dear friend, who will be missed terribly! My daughter started to work for your dad approx 35 years ago in buffalo grove, then my sister who I truly believe he extended her life by many years, then my son and also myself! He would go above and beyond no matter what he had going on in his life, in fact one time he even made a house call for me! We truly loved this man and he is etched in our hearts forever! Prayers for you and the entire Weisberg family! Rest in peace Dr Weisberg and thank for all! Sincerely, the entire Santucci family

I called him Doc-o-Mine. I loved him dearly. He was my dr for over 30 years. He was kind, generous, skilled. I have missed him this last 1+ years. We shared many stories of his daughters. Although I never met them, he adored them. His pride in them knew no bounds. I can't imagine the depth of loss you are all feeling. I believe he & Abbie will be loving you in heaven. Hold close your special memories of him. Truly one of a kind.

All my love, Shawne Greney
