He gave the nickname Miss M and that name I still answer to this day. His live of any sport especially the White Sox and his famous birdie handshake. David used to come to my house with Miriam for various new years eves. We ordered pizza and played games. He was a tremendous help as my moving labor helper. I will miss his corny jokes, his great smile, and friendly harassment of the cubs.
I'm so sorry you are going through this heartbreak. Sending all my love and a big hug

To the family of Dave Reich:
I came to know Dave in 2011 when he joined my Yahoo Fantasy football and baseball leagues. As a new commissioner and being a female, I was taking chances on creating a league for those who enjoyed the history of both sports. In the spring of 2011, Dave signed up for Baseball History 101 and named his team the Black Sox. He had so much fun, that in the fall, he joined NFL History 101 and named his team The Payton-Sayers. He was a valued member of both leagues. His league mates found him to be a welcomed presence and a good competitor. He will be missed!! When I viewed the service and it was said that he enjoyed history, that made me smile. My leagues are for fun only, no cash, and I'm glad he had the time of his life on the leagues.

My condolences to your family and may the memories you shared with him be comforting to you at this difficult time.
With blessings,
Mary
