Selig Spun was a very lovely gentleman I had the great honor and pleasure of working with for quite a few years. I adored his daily visits to our office when he was our bank runner. I always stopped to chat with him and ask about his wife and family. He took great pleasure in telling me stories of his life and about his grandchildren. He was always sharing his wonderful recipes and dishes he would be making for Shabbat. He was always so kind and brought nothing but joy and smiles to our office. I looked forward to making him a hot cup of hot chocolate on those cold days he needed a warm beverage and a cold snapple iced tea in the summer months. I took the news of his passing this morning with a very heavy heart. He truly will be missed.

Dear Miriam and Family,
Our deepest condolences on your loss. Due to my active Covid we could not attend the funeral.
We were blessed to have Selig in our lives. He brought such ruach to every situation. From Shabbos/Yom Tov l'chaims (cookies provided by Selig) to having you and Selig in our Sukkah each year along with the gang from shul, we relished every experience and moment. And of course we always looked forward to the delicious vishniak.
Selig was a true mensch and will be deeply missed. May his memory be for a blessing.
Fondly,
Denise & Ben Isaacson
