OBITUARY

Richard J. Chroman, age 85.
Beloved husband of Michele, nee Graver for 62 years. Loving father Adam (Kremie) Chroman and Melissa (Joshua) Prober. Proud grandfather of Ray, Julian, Ellie and Jonah. Dear brother of Allen (Dr.Anne Schell) Chroman and the late Roberta (the late Terry) Turkat. Fond uncle of Jennifer, Megan, Lauren, Bonnie, Lindsay, Loren. He will be missed by many other extended family and friends. Longtime Chicago dentist, avid sailor, amateur chef and three-time Chicken Soup Champ.
Service Monday, 12 noon at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 195 N. Buffalo Grove Road (One block north of Lake Cook Road) Buffalo Grove. Interment Westlawn.

We were saddened to learn of the passing of our good friend Dick.
So many years of memories came to our mind. The wonderful and delicious events we shared.

My thoughts and prayers are with Michele and family on the loss of a Husband Dad and Grandfather..I knew Dr. Chroman for many years first through my job at Fields Auto Group and now from Dundee Pharmacy..He was kind and nice and I always was happy to see him and talk to him..I am truly heartbroken to learn of his passing..He will be greatly missed by myself and all that knew him..May his memory be for a blessing . Sending love and hugs to Michele and family on a truly heartbreaking loss.

My deepest condolences to Michelle, Adam and Melissa along with the rest of the family as they prepare to say goodbye, for now, to Dick. I’ll never forget the kindness Dick showed to myself, my wife and our traveling companions on 9/11 when I called him stranded at O’Hare…what a mensch he was!

I enjoyed meeting your Dad and Grandpa at Adam's house for special occasions.
