OBITUARY

Philip "Pablo" Warren, age 98. Beloved husband of Evelyn for 65 years. Loving father of David (Andrea) Warren and Cheryl (Marc) Grabell. Loving Papa of Matthew (Katy) Grabell, Brittani Grabell Fullman (Casey Fullman), Alexandra Warren, Max Warren, and Jeremy Warren. Devoted great-Grand Papa of Ari Easton Grabell. Dear brother of Anita (the late Barry) Klerman and brother-in-law of Dr. Robert (Dr. Rosita) Pildes. Cherished uncle to many.

Born in Argentina, Pablo loved being a citizen of the USA. Pablo was a devoted father, grandfather, artist, and friend. He proudly served in the Army's 45th Infantry - the Thunderbird Division, Company F, during the Korean War. A very special man who impacted so many people with his warmth and humor. He loved his family deeply and his love of life and legacy will continue.

Service Monday 10AM at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 8851 Skokie Boulevard (one block North of Dempster), Skokie. Interment Westlawn. To attend the funeral livestream, please visit our website. I am so sorry for your loss. Pablo I always called him by his original name. Pablo and I were first cousins and my parents brought him to Chicago when I was 10 and he lived with us until he went to the army. He loved his family and loved living in the United States and always said how much he appreciated being able to live here. He was very artistic and did beautiful 3 d art work. I will truly miss him. I am so sorry to hear of Pablo’s passing. He was very special to me growing up- one of the most genuine people I have ever had the honor of knowing. And an amazing talent! He led a wonderfully full life and will be missed by all.

My Uncle Pablo was a very special man in my life. i have so very many fond memories of him and Aunt Evie.

Carol Steinfeld's daughter Michele, notified me last night and I was able to get on line and participate in the service via stream. Pablo was related to me via my father Albert Abraham Learner. I think they were 2nd cousins. The large family immigrated originally from Ukraine,(Poland) Russia around 1915 to 1920. Those who couldn't get into the US via Ellis Island, immigrated to Canada or Argentina. Eventually many immigrated to the US. We saw each other at large family gatherings until I moved to Los Angeles after college.
I kept in touch with Carol Steinfeld, and then also Michele, the next generation. I heard about Pablo from many cousins how much they all admired and loved him.
I send my love and condolences to everyone whose lives he touched. Thank you to the grandchildren for sharing your personal thoughts at the funeral. Your stories helped me to get to know him and these stories will remain in my memories and heart,
