Steve was my #1 fan! I loved waving to him in the audience in my concerts and sharing music with him. I also loved finding out our family connections! Such a small world—we are some type of cousins!

Steve Tucker was a pioneer in girls and women's sports as he fought to make sure they got the recognition and respect that they deserved, especially with Basketball. This year reflected the fruition and intensity of his endless hours and devotion to the girls and their sport. Anybody who has been involved in the development girls and women's basketball in the last 50 years knows Steve was a giant in the media.

Tuck was always a part of our family and always made every experience better just by being there. Some of my favorite memories include Tuck and our many basketball experiences over the years. I remember one tournament where my dad was not there and Tuck promised him that he would take care of me and my friend the entire trip. While on the way to one game we were looking for a Subway for lunch and couldn't find anything anywhere. It was getting close to game time and we told Tuck that we would just eat later and he said "no, I promised your dad that I would take good care of you". And that he always did. No matter where I was, or what was going on, I knew I could count on Tuck 100% and that he would always be there for me, supporting me, cheering me on, and always in my corner. Tuck was a remarkable man who taught me so much, and I am so thankful to have been blessed to have gotten to know him so well over the years.

Steve and I were great friends thru basketball. I stayed with him when in town, and went to women's basketball games. He was a great, intelligent friend. He visited with me on his way to Vermont to see friends. I feel terrible at his loss. A great person!!
