Sending prayers of peace and comfort to the family of Shirley Cain. She was such a light. I remember her always smiling and so very kind and sweet. I knew the Cains through my parents Adrien and Andy Vocos.

I’m so sorry to hear of the passing of my cousin Shirley Cain. She and Harold were very kind to me and my late wife Jane when we lived in Chicago 50 years ago. We met only a few more times since then but she was often in my thoughts. I’m afraid I can’t get to the funeral in person but will connect with the livestream. I wish Sheree and all the family a long life.

Dear Sheree, Gary, and families, your mother was the kindest sweetest person. I loved sending her New Year, Passover, Hanukkah cards and reading her responses.
Occasionally spoke with her on the phone. that made my day. She always spoke highly of her daughter and son. May she rest in peace. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Sincerely, Betty

My family & I were so sorry to learn of Shirley's passing. She was a wonderful, kind family friend since I was 9 yrs. old & always introduced me as her children's babysitter even after Sheree & Gary were grown. I know she will be missed by all who knew & loved her.

I am so deeply saddened to hear of Shirley's passing. Our family has known Shirley for over 50 years. In all the years we have known her, she has always been a very kind and genuinely good person. I am so grateful to have known her and I know that she will be missed very much by her family and so many others who were lucky enough to be a part of her life. Rest in peace, Shirley.

Sheree and Gary, please accept my deepest sympathy to you and your families. I know she will be greatly missed.

Fondly,
Sandy Larrue
