Gambol/Linda - I loved your dad very much and was terribly saddened by the news. I don't know if I can come in town for the funeral but I wanted to let you know that my thoughts are with you. He and I had many, many crazy "Adventures"since 1960. We shared the first pizza at his pizza joint on Wells. The last time we spoke was about a year and a half ago and he totally knew who I was and asked me if I will be coming into town so we can go out to fancy places for dinner, like we used to. I will miss "Uncle Phil," and his generous heart and joy of celebrating life in a BIG way. He was a significant and enjoyable part of my life for many years. I should have written a movie about him, but no one would believe it!!

To Gambol and Lindy; Vivian and I grew up with Philip. He was like a brother to us. Philip was unique. He was outrageous, funny, very generous, and extraordinary in so many ways. He will live forever in our hearts. With much love Laura and Vivian.

Dear Gambol & Lindy, your father and I were VERY BEST friends for more than 25 years. We met when we were 14 years old. We spent our most formative years together. Wherever there was Philip, there was Frank. It is indeed regrettable that we abruptly ended our friendship when we did. I thought of him often over the years and remembered the wonderful and not so wonderful things we went through together. Please feel free to call me if you would like to. Also, please ask Debbie Kruger to call me. My # is 847 840-6051. Again, I would like to express my most sincere condolences for your loss.
