Dear family of Barbra,
I have numerous memories of your mom and her kindness. I recall when she visited Germany and Martin and her stayed with me in Kaiserslautern where I was living at the time.
I also recall some childhood memories and her presence as I attended Bruce's wedding in Chicago. She loved her family and my mom cherished her friendship. She was always a source of inspiration to me.

To Barbara's children and grandchildren,
Although I had not seen Barbara (or many of you) in many years, I have fond memories of visits to Oskaloosa where she always made us feel at home. I recall other lovely family events in Chicago over the years. My thoughts are with you in this time of loss.
