Robert F. Kushen, age 75. Beloved husband of Roberta Goeters Kushen. Devoted brother of the late Carol Kushen Lauter. Loving uncle of Andrew (Michelle) Lauter. Great uncle of Rachel Domash, Sara Lauter and Benjamin Lauter. Service Wednesday 2PM at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 8851 Skokie Blvd. (at Niles Center Road) Skokie. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Lung Association, American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.

I met Robert when Roberta joined my company, SVE, in the mid-1980s—a long time ago! He really enjoyed a good conversation, preferably a debate, and it was always fun to joust with him. Sadly, he suffered a lot in the last few years and it is a blessing that he is now at peace.
