I met Gail Persino when she had come to watch a holiday performance at Prussing elementary. Gail was beautiful and beaming with pride after watching her gorgeous daughterâ??s class joyful singing. Elexis and Gail had matching smiles that night, as daughter was equally proud to introduce her mother.
I am so sorry for your familyâ??s loss.

Liz and I are saddened and heartbroken over Gailâ??s passing. She was the sweetest and most beautiful person inside and out. Weâ??ll always remember her smiling, laughing and having a good time wherever she went, especially when she was entertaining family and friends at the house. She had an upbeat spirit and always made us feel welcome. And always made sure we had plenty to eat and drink, and that we took home some of her home-made mandel bread. We are so lucky to have known her and to have spent time together going out to hockey games, plays and dinner.

Our deepest condolences go out to Jim and Gail's family at this very difficult time. May you find peace and comfort in the memories of all the many wonderful times you shared together.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you,

Jerry and Liz Ettinger

When we moved in to the house next door to Gail and Jimmy, Gail was the first person to greet us, with her open welcoming attitude and gorgeous smile. She had style, grace and true love in her heart for her family and friends. It's hard to imagine she is gone, her attitude and positivism throughout all her health problems just made me feel she was indestructible. Her warmth and goodness through all that can only be described as remarkable as she went along her day. We love her and will remember her every day for her genuine spirit and passion for her family and friends.

I met Gail through Jimmy. Over the past seven years we had many conversations, mainly in her kitchen, on the importance of family and spending quality time with them. I will miss those conversations and advice on raising three girls. Rest in Peace.

I remember having a "true" mother conversation with Gail. I asked her how summer school was going with Elexis. She said "WE" have so much homework. In fact "WE" have a huge project do tomorrow. I asked Gail what project she was doing. Gail went on and on and I laughed to myself. What a great mother Gail is.

Dear Jimmy and Family,
I am truly saddened that I will no longer be able to have our talks at Whack. Such a lovely and personable lady. God must have felt he needed her more than us. She was always smiling even while suffering. I am sooo glad to have had the pleasure of knowing her and she will not be forgotten. She was so very special and Jimmy was incredibly blessed to share his life with her. Memories will be there forever just like her warmth and kindness. Always thinking of others first and wanting to be there to help. Such a terrible loss that will be felt for many many years. I send my heartfelt thoughts and prayers for all of you. Thank God he gave her to us for as long as he did. She will be greatly missed and never replaced. Much love, Keith Hancock
