I adored and loved this ebullient woman. She overcame painful losses and always smiled her million dollar smile. We met well over forty years ago, walking for exercise at Northbrook Ct. In a friendship that for me became a treasure, Zelda always expressed gratitude for each call or treat I brought her. She delighted in Honey/Ataluflo mangoes, and I always brought them to her. I do and always will think of her when I spot them. And I will cherish each recipe of hers I have in her handwriting—somehow those make the affection I hold and will always hold for her more real. What a treasure she was! And how enriched my life was because of her. I will really miss her quick wit, her sweetness, and her presence.

I knew Zelda from when I first joined CBS in 1980. She was so kind and made me feel welcome. A wonderful person. We worked together a lot volunteering for different functions. Zelda will be truly missed by me and everyone. My deepest sympathy to the family of Zelda Seiden.

My heartfelt condolences to Jerry, Glenn, Diane and their families on the loss of Zelda. Our families go way back to Maywood in the early days. Our families were very close at that time. Some of my fondest memories are of the Chanukah parties and the fun we all had together when we were kids.. From time-to-time, I had the pleasure of spending time with Zelda. I remember she attended a brunch at my house in Northbrook, and i would often run into her at Sunset Foods. In Arizona, I had a dinner party at my house with my cousins from Tucson , Diane and George, with Zelda in attendance. I have very fond memories of her. I think the Cantor who spoke at her funeral did an excellent job, describing Zelda perfectly. May she rest in peace.

FYI -- My brother passed away on October 31st and his funeral was the same day as Zelda's.
