OBITUARY

Barry D. Bayer, 81
Beloved husband of Susan P. Bayer nee Platt. Loving father of William (Gali) Bayer, Jonathan (Janine Okmin) Bayer, and Elisabeth Bayer. Proud grandfather of Shailee, Ella, Daniel, Danya, and Jesse. Dear brother of Howard (the late Elaine) Bayer, the late Kathy (the late Marty) Rabinovitz, Deborah Bayer (David Reinertson), Naomi (Stuart Brandhandler) Bayer, and Michael Bayer. Pre-deceased by his parents, William and Jeanne Bayer. He will be sorely missed by his many nieces and nephews.
In addition to practicing law and writing a syndicated column, Barry was an active member of the South Suburban Jewish community. He taught Sunday School, sang in the temple choir, and held positions on multiple synagogue and community boards. His most cherished moments remained spending time with his children, grandchildren and extended family. K9CFV!

I was the youngest uncle in the family when Barry was born -
Barry always complained to his grandfather (my father) that I picked on him and naturally I got punished which resulted in in retaliation against Barry - lots of fun !
