Beloved wife of Richard J. Rice. Loving mother of Aaron (Dana) Rice and Marisa (Adam) Chez. Proud grandmother of Jacob and Ava Rice, Francesca and Marshall Chez. I have known Lynne and Richard since our college days together at the University of Illinois. They and their families are very special to me. I will miss her dearly but know that she is now at peace.

Lynn was like a sister to me from the time I was 15years old.
Our family - especially our parents embraced her as family and loved her from the time we met.
We send our sincere sympathies to Richard and her beautiful family and know that she will truly be missed.

Because we know Lynne was a super fan of David Letterman, we have put together a top five list (it could have been a top 1000)
of ”Top 5 reasons we love about Lynne”…

Her maiden name was Newman.. so in a sense , Richard is "Newman’s Own”

Lynne was a cheerleader .. Richard was a football star. Now wonder she fell for him. Like David, he was a Letterman

By the time she had children her name was Rice. During her pregnancies her nickname was puffed Rice.

Although she was Drug free It was important to her to be close to LSD… Lake Shore Drive

She will always remain a beacon of courage, strength and the power of love in all of our lives. She will always be remembered.

Dear Richard & Family, We are very saddened to hear of Lynne's passing. The Newmans and the Riches spent many a special seder together back in the day. Stuart was able to reacquaint at U of IL where I was able to meet her and love her. What a beautiful person inside and out. May your fondest memories provide much comfort now and always.
