In Loving Memory of Josefina C. Rodriguez
Josefina C. Rodriguez, aged 84, a resident of Illinois, passed away on February 4, 2024. She was born on March 26, 1939, in Orocovis, Puerto Rico. Josefina is survived by her three beloved children, Alfredo, John, and Sonia, and her cherished grandchildren, Danny, Cynthia, Lisa, Alex, Jason, Joshua, and Alivia.
Josefina was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother dedicated to her family's well-being and happiness. She found immense joy in being surrounded by her children and grandchildren, and her nurturing spirit touched the hearts of all who knew her.
In addition to her immediate family, Josefina is remembered for her warm and welcoming nature. She was an outgoing and sociable individual who thrived on building connections with others. Her vibrant personality created a sense of community wherever she went, and she leaves behind a legacy of kindness and compassion.
Josefina had a passion for bringing people together through the joy of food. She delighted in preparing delicious meals, creating a haven where family and friends could gather, share laughter, and create lasting memories. Her kitchen was a place of warmth and love, reflecting her generous spirit.
Preceded in death by her loving husband, Rudolfo, and ex-husband, Juan, Josefina's life was marked by resilience and strength. Though they have left this world before her, their memories linger on, and Josefina's legacy endures through the lives of her children and grandchildren.
The family invites friends and well-wishers to join them in celebrating Josefina's life at the memorial service, which will take place at Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens, 5050 S.W. 20th St. Ocala, Florida 34474. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, a charity that was close to Josefina's heart.
