Hearing the loss of Jeff, I was saddened and a bit shocked when I heard the news.
Jeff was a friend for some time, and over the past few years, we'd talk just about every week or more by phone and often about baseball. Albeit, he was a Cub, and I was a White Sox's fan. We understood each other's humor and usually made each other laugh. He was kind-hearted and spoke with a tender and warm voice often.
We'd often speak while driving my young son back and forth to hockey weekly. Jeff would talk to Jacob, tell him jokes, and come up with silly voices. I'd see my son laugh. Jeff, you were nothing less than kind to him 100% of the time, whether in person or by phone.
Jacob and I will miss Jeff's caring ways and funny antics.
And I know we will refer to his name often and smile.
I wish you only peace now, Jeff.
From the heart of your friend Jeff and Jacob Brunstein.

Jeff embodied the BEST of us. No one will forget his quiet confident smile, and his calm demeanor. Without saying much he always let me know we were friends, and that was something I cherished. He will be missed by all of his friends, and I am proud to say I am one of them!

I am so saddened to hear the news of Jeff’s passing. I was just getting to know Jeff as a golfing buddy at our country club in Palm Beach Gardens. I enjoyed his company, learning about him, and figuring out his humor. My condolences to Ross and Sloan, whom Jeff had introduced me to while they were dining with him at Eastpointe just a few weeks ago. May the family be provided with strength by cherishing memories of Jeff.

Paul and Family,

I'm so sorry to hear about Jeff's passing! What a neighborhood we had growing up in Devonshire. So many nice people and memories. May HIS memory be for a blessing. Stevie told me today, so I'm so sorry to be belated with my sympathies to all of you.

Very Sincerely,
Cathy (Citron) Kominsky
