OBITUARY

Natasha ‘Van’Essa’ Zuniga passed away early Thursday morning at the age of 37 in Belize. She is survived by her son, Javier, her mother, Rose Fortune, her father, Vallan Zuniga known by many as Mr. Jones, a longtime employee of Chicago Jewish Funerals, her brothers Vallan Zuniga Jr and Raymond Zuniga, her sisters Tessa Zuniga, Narlee Zuniga, and Joneisha Zuniga.

A memorial is being held Saturday, February 21 from 5pm to 6:30pm at Chicago Jewish Funerals Skokie Chapel, 8851 Skokie Boulevard, Skokie, IL. The interment will be Saturday, February 28, 2026 in Belize City, Belize.
