Bob Niesse was a simple man. Not ostentatious not showy but a simple down to earth good man. Although I did not see him that frequently we did get together at family functions and we seem to just pick it up where we left off.

We would look at our family as they grew and Bob would always say Jarret is a good man he'll always do the right thing. Jarret, Bob loved you. He was always proud of you and he was right. You've always done the right thing by everybody.

Bob will be missed, but his memory not forgotten. He was a simple man , a good man and someone I was always proud to call a friend.

We will miss you Bob. God bless.

Met Bob on our annual canoe trips to the Wildcat Creek near W Lafayette. Then we would hang around the various watering holes on the north side. Always an interesting time. RIP.

Robert and I were school friends growing up. He was a fun guy to hang with. Although we have not seen each other for many years, fond memories remain. May God bless and keep him.

Dear Jared and family,
Saddened to learn of Bob's passing. You gave a beautiful eulogy Jared, and yes "fun" was the perfect descriptor for my friend. He and I shared nearly 37 years together at Business Insurance, I joined a year after him and left a year before him. Too many memories to catalog here. But I hope you'll reach out by email when you can.
He shared so many pictures of you growing up, all the trips you took, his travels with Leslie too, all those tickets she provided through the airlines. And was so thrilled to become a grandfather. Family was indeed so important to him, next to his beloved Jags.
May Bob's memory be for a blessing, and may he rest in peace. I will miss him. 80 was too young.

Dear Niesse Family:

Bob was a big part of my life. For 17 years we worked together at Crain Communications-Business Insurance magazine. He was a very smart guy who had
a gentle touch as a manager. He was also a fun guy at the office and beyond. We were neighbors in Lincoln Park and friends. He is missed.

I'm sorry to have missed his service April 3. I was out of town. May he rest in peace.

Dear Jared & family I too worked at BI and truly enjoyed Bob. He was fun loving and always shared stories about his wonderful son. We later became Facebook friends. We chatted about our lives after BI. He loved his cars and Barrett Jackson. Keep you memories in your heart. He's gone way to young. Rest in peace
