Karen always had an amazing story to share, a twinkle in her eye and a fantastic sense of humor. I worked with Karen over the last few years and will miss our chats. She worked so hard with a huge passion for helping others progress in their careers and finding exceptional talent for the business. Her ability to connect with people and create a lasting imprint on their lives was a true gift. Such a warm hearted and giving person, I will miss her fierce wit and laughter. May her memory be a blessing.

I have had the pleasure of sharing life with an extraordinary human, Karen Sokol Silbar. She was my niece, friend and sometime accomplice . We explored food, fashion, jewelry making and art. We shared the pleasures of raising sons and the importance of family. And could she smile, could she laugh!

I am saddened to learn of Karen’s passing however I know she was a true warrior. I will miss her and her positive spirit. There was no one who had better taste when shopping or putting together a party or decorating their house. Karen was a wonderful mother, friend and family member. She always tried to include so many in any special life event. I’ll miss her and when I wear the clothes she picked out for me and will remember her smile.

Karen has been in my life since she was a feisty little redhead child. Always determined, steadfast, and resolute. In Atlanta, i especially remember us sitting at my table as she questioned me about connecting with her mom. I encouraged her to open up to the possibility and at that moment her car keys (which were on the table) literally jumped off the table onto the floor! We were so shocked that we both screamed and laughed and cried. As a young adult we had phone calls and visits that wee always deeply meaningful.
As an adult, Karen has been my hero and.my example of a true conquering hero. I have loved her for over sixty years when I helped take care of Judy and I will endeavor to something every day to honor her memory. I love you babe ❤️
