Have not been in touch with my loved Santoro family, for way too long. It's moments like this that equal a punch in the gut. Jimmy and Ben were my first babysitting job. When I received the news of Jimmy's passing, my first thought was pictures of him with his family, many years ago. Even way back, Jimmy was always a sweet boy, and extremely compassionate. The world will be a lesser place with out him in it. My deepest condolences to his family and friends.

This is a deeply saddening loss for us all .... Jim Santoro was always the kindest man, and full of energy. His smile was infectious and bright. Everyday we would kindly greet and discuss the Chicago White Sox, and the Sox hats we always wore. Jim is a huge White Sox fan, and he loved to rock his Sox hat slightly askew. Jim was a wonderful man who shined his light on all of us at ETHS. The emptiness his loss has created has rippled through our building .... I miss him greatly, and am sending love and compassion to all of the Santoro family, friends, and co-workers. May the Gods take care of this man's energy and soul. Blessings to you all.

My prayers and condolences to Jim's family and friends. He was a kind and friendly person. I am thankful for the conversations we had while he was working here at Evanston Township High school. May his soul rest in peace.

My deepest condolences to Jim and his family. Jim as I called him was one of the most helpful people at ETHS. He always greeted me with a smile and always called me by name. He was so kind and caring towards others. I appreciated everything he did to support my work at ETHS he was ready and willing to help! Thinking of his family during this difficult time. Rest peacefully, Jim. You are missed.

I have thought and thought to find the proper words to express my condolences, but alas, words seem to fail me.

It had been years since I saw Jimmy in person, but he was someone that would randomly pop into my mind.

Jimmy was one of my babysitters when I was young and he never failed to make it a fun time. I don't know why a teenager wanted to take care of a goofy kid, but he did and never failed to make me laugh. We'd play games, do magic tricks and he was always there to make me smile with a funny story.

There is no doubt he touched so many lives during his time on Earth and he will forever live on in the stories told and memories shared.

I hope he knows how loved he was by everyone around him and how missed he will be.

The world has lost a really good human being, but gained an incredible guardian Angel.

May his loved ones find healing in their memories and strength during these challenging moments.
