Sandy and I shared our miniature passion.....we always talked about doing lunch. I lived in Highland Park we and did manage to
achieve lunch at the Botanic once. But most of our exchanges were at Castine and shows. I wish we had found more time to
explore our friendship for she was not only incredibly talented but a kind gentle soul. May her family find comfort in the beauty she
created. I do remember meeting her sister in Chicago at a demonstration we were involved in at the downtown Marshall Fields which was sponsored by the wonderful miniature shop in Lake Forest. We were pleaded to be paid and I think lunch was included. It was a fun day.

I am so sorry for your family's loss and for the loss of an amazing miniature artist. I first met Sandy in 2000 and took a flower workshop with her. Since then I have been addicted to miniature flower making and did many many workshops with Sandy. I will think of her every time I make another miniature flower. I will miss seeing her and my thoughts are with all of her family.
